Precipitation
The Taiga usually gets lots of rainfall during the summer, and during the winter months (November - April) snow sticks around, so if you're planning on visiting during the winter months remember to bring your winter boots! The Taiga receives anywhere from 300-7000mm of precipitation annually, much of which is in the form of rain, so if you plan on coming in the summer, keep an umbrella on your packing list!
Climate
The Taiga has a subarctic climate, and is known for its intensely harsh and cold winters which can last up to 9 months. The temperature varies greatly throughout the year, reaching anywhere from -30ºC to 20ºC. Make sure to check the weather network before you start packing your suitcase, and be prepared to bring either your favorite parka or your most trusted sun hat!
